All parts of the filter are produced of food-grade materials and are BPA free.
The Arctic A5 filter cartridge features a cap that prevents rust, silt and sand from entering the main filter.
The filter cartridge contains a combination of extra-fine activated coconut carbon, ion-exchange resin, and Aqualen™ fibers that removes chlorine, organic compounds, pesticides, phenols, heavy metals, and other harmful substances from water.
Aqualen™, Aquaphor's patented ion-exchange fiber sorbent irreversibly binds all heavy metals including lead, copper, mercury, cadmium and arsenic.
As a result, the quality, taste and odour of water is improved.

A5 works effectively against dissolved contaminants even in water with visible signs of rust, sand or silt.
